If I could be one person, famous or not, for a day. Who would I be?

If I could be anyone for a day, I’d be Jane Doe. Jane Doe is currently forty years old and she is homeless. She had been homeless for almost about three years. Before she became homeless, her occupation was a Librarian, she was married but had no kids. About three and half years ago, Jane faced a tragic moment her life, her husband Daniel Doe had died. This made a huge change in her life which led her to be homeless because she was too depressed to do anything, even to support herself.

At 6 am I’d find myself sleeping on a wooden bench in the park. I look down and see that I’m wearing a pairs of black boots, with the left boot having a hole, exposing my big toe. For clothing, I’m wearing brown corduroy pants, a yellow Nike shirt, and a smelly aqua green jacket. At 6:05 am, I’d walk to Goodwill and check if people left donated clothes outside the door so I have extra clothing to wear. After checking, I’d look for people and ask them for money so I can buy food to eat. I made about 9 dollars after 9 hours of work. Then, I’d go to McDonalds and buy myself a Big Mac meal to last me for the night. Around 5, I would take a stroll in the ravine until night comes. Then go back to my originally sleeping spot which is the wooden bench in the park.

Being Jane Doe for a day is not as easy as it seems because after her lost, things took a big turned for her. She became depressed and lazy which led her to be homeless. Honestly, Jane Doe decided to make her own decisions on what to do with her, for example not caring about anything and let her past take control of her. This has taught me to not let my past experiences take over me and lead me to do wrong decisions.
